China Foreign Exchange Trade Center indicated that USD/CNY at close was 6.5575, down 376 bps. For the night trading, the rate last stood at 6.5564, down 405 bps.
USD/CNH last declined 730 bps to 6.7179, hitting the new low since September 2010. The difference of onshore and offshore prices was widened to over 1,600 bps, breaking the historical record. The market quotation for HKD/CNY last printed at 86.72.
